Initially teaching in the UK will be different from your own classroom experience. Each school will have its own educational ethos, dress code, health and safety procedures and behaviour policy, which will be new to you. The National Curriculum might not be too different from back home but it will take time to adjust to the nature and culture of schools throughout the UK.
There are good support systems built into the management of schools and being suitably prepared will assist during your induction period. On arrival to the UK, you will either work in a long term position or as a day to day supply teacher.
