Due to the shortage of teachers in the UK, supply teachers, or relief teachers as you may know them, have grown in numbers and in demand. Schools who have short term absences such as sickness or other
emergencies require teachers to work for short periods of time, sometimes just
one day!
If you work on a day to day basis you will have the opportunity to try out
different schools and experience many different situations. This gives you the
perfect chance to make an educated decision on schools if you would like a
longer term position. The planning and duties involved are on a lesser scale
